Kit Kat
While I was back in Canada last year, I brought back some of the wonderful flavours of Kit Kat that are offered over here in Japan. I started collecting some of the boxes of the different flavours at the start of last year. I counted them today and found that I have 28 different flavours, which means that a different flavour comes out every 2-3 weeks. What prompted me to show the different flavours on my blog were that last week, I tried the strangest flavour for a chocolate bar yet...salt. And it tasted like chocolate with a bit of salt in it. Anyways, some of the other flavours I've collected are: cherry blossom, azuki red bean, melon, cookies & milk, green tea, cherry, chestnut, strawberry, orange, kiwifruit, caramel, vanilla beans, peach, pineapple, and apple. Here's a photo of my collection so far:

Valentine's Day
It's been a quiet 2008 so far...and thus not any posts for awhile...sorry.
We did have a good Valentine's day though. Ayako made me some shrimp pasta for a Valentine's day lunch, followed by a chocolate & orange cream roll. Ayako found that whipped chocolate cream and marmalade go very well together. I fully agreed. Here's a picture:
