Life in Hamamatsu all seems well and good and it's nice to see you like it (and Ayako) enough to spend more than one year in the same place. Nonetheless, I feel obliged to inquire: where's the local table tennis table? Why have these postings never mentioned any Peruvians? When is the last time you saw a foot race on the street between the local Japanese champion and a foreign interloper outside the nearest tents serving alcoholic beverages at 3 a.m. on a rainy summer night? Does Hamamatsu even have "coffee girls"? Damnit Andy, you've gone all soft!!
