Then Heather joined us again this weekend to go see the Kashima fireworks near Tenryu. Again, some videos for you to enjoy:On Sunday, Ayako's family came over. We had a picnic under the house (which might sound a bit strange if you haven't seen our house) and went to clean up the family's grave site. At night, we went for a short walk and could watch the fireworks display coming from Mikkabi, which is across the lake. I had my camera this time, so you can see a shot below of the fireworks. The delay of the "boom" of the fireworks was 22 seconds, so I figured the fireworks were about 7 km from us.
