Another typhoon/rainy day

It's Saturday, and we were home all day since a typhoon passed by today. They never hit our town, but we get lots of rain from the edge of them. We had two friends over for lunch and then chatting in the afternoon, so it was a nice relaxed day. The wind was quite strong on the lake, enough for whitecaps to form:Luckily after the storm had passed we were greeted with a wonderful rainbow. (Unfortunately this picture below doesn't do it justice. We were also amazed that we could see the entire arc, but it was too large to photograph.)
And then at night, we had a wonderful moon that shone beautifully off the lake. So it was a nice end to a wet day.Tomorrow we are off to the Hana-no-mai sake festival that we attended last year at this time. Should be lots of fun.
